About us

John Foster Projects is a leading Mackay builder responsible for commercial building projects throughout Queensland. The company was established in Mackay, Queensland in 1993, and since then two main divisions have evolved: general building contracting and commercial interiors & shop fitting.

The company has been the recipient of many industry awards, including 2 Queensland Master Builders Association (QMBA) State Awards in 2003 and 2005.

We have completed individual building projects to the value of $4 million in Cairns, Townsville, Mackay, Rockhampton, Gladstone, Bundaberg and in surrounding areas throughout Queensland.

Our experience includes, but is not limited to: government projects, education projects, health projects, commercial projects, industrial projects, refurbishments and fitouts, and unit developments.

Our company’s success can be attributed to our unique staff. We currently employ approximately 40 personnel, 10 of whom are based in the Mackay office.
